Aspire Academy Elementary School in Huntington Park has employed Dawn for over a decade to create murals that enrich the school’s environment.
In 2023, Dawn completed a 120-foot-long space-themed hallway mural at the Inskeep campus. The principal provided the vision but allowed creative interpretation, resulting in a realistic depiction of celestial bodies as seen through telescopes.
The project followed a structured process, including conceptualization, sketching, approval, and execution.
The final mural was well received by the principal, staff, and students, enhancing the school’s science-focused atmosphere.
Estimate for the project was created somewhat by square footage, accessibility, wall surface and amount of ladder work, and level of detail. In this case it was 1900 sq ft at aprox $8.00 per sq ft. plus supplies.
